Each coaching session is unique and very transformative. During the session I am able to see where you are in your life, your attributes and the obstacles that are blocking you, how they came about and what you need to do to be on your path and taking your next step. We then discuss the truth behind what's happening to you and the actions you can take to move on.

It's like talking to someone you've known intimately throughout your entire life.
When I relay this information to you it feels comfortable and accurate. You carry within you the information you need to know about your present situation, your past, where you are heading, and the events and people in your life. I connect with you at a deep level – one that will feel familiar and true to you – and talk with you about what I see and hear. I am an interpreter, of sorts, telling you what you want to tell yourself.

During the coaching sessions I help you to understand what I see, empowering you to change your life and move forward on your path.
I help you to shift during the session so that you can take this next step. I will talk with you and work with you intellectually and energetically so that you leave the session recharged and new, with a clear Action Plan that outlines what to do next. "Shuttling between the present and the past, Whispering Walls and Voices Past is a strange, imaginative work of fiction over which there always  hovers the shimmering aura of the dream. 

When Catherine Bannister, a happy housewife and mother of three sons, learns of the death of her uncle and his bequest to her, she little realizes the frightening and hair-raising adventures she has inherited along with the old man's abandoned mansion. 

Accompanied by her sister and her husband, Catherine visits the desolate manor house and soon discovers that she is dwelling on two distinctively separate levels of time.  Launched on a backward journey in time, she encounters a world peopled with the ghosts of a former age.  When she and her sister garb themselves in two Colonial costumes they find in a bedroom closet, they set off the series of events that make for the dramatic action of this novel. 

The sudden disappearance of her sister provokes Catherine Bannister to investigate the many peculiar nooks and crannies and secret door panels of the old manor.  She becomes involved with several malevolent ghosts who plot to destroy her.  She is aided by a number of beneficent spirits and familiars who help her out of the various dangers and dilemmas she finds herself in."   Carlton Press, New York.

Jason's Story

Jason Shields was born in Anderson, Indiana.  Jason and his mother Sally almost lost their lives due to birthing complications.  Recalling his birth as though it were yesterday, Jason remembers crossing over to Heaven during the birth trauma. 

Jason 3 Months Old

"I met Jesus Christ at the other end of the tunnel to Heaven.  I saw everything in my life to come: the trials and tribulations I  would have to undergo as a result of a disability.  Needless to say, I did not want to leave Heaven.  But, He also gave me a glimpse of the wonderful things I would experience; the gifts I would be born with; the destiny I could have and use to help others and transform the world."  

Needless to say, Jason along with his mother survived with minimal damage.  The complications resulted in Jason being born with mild cerebral palsy which affected his early coordination and motor skills.  God answered his mother’s fervent prayer that Jason would have a sharp and brilliant mind.  In return, Sally dedicated her infant son to the service of the Lord.   

"Growing up as a child was a lonely time for me.  I had only two friends who really cared and gave me the time of day.  I thank God that I had a big family ranging from my two brothers and sister to cousins, etc. who included me in their activities.  I also could perceive "imaginary friends" who turned out to be ghosts of children who had not crossed over to the Other Side." 

Jason’s grandmother, Viola Catherine Shields was a well-known psychic medium throughout the country having read for Nelson Rockefeller, Lawrence Welk, famous soap opera and movie stars, along with three U.S. Presidents: John Kennedy, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.  In 1964, Viola published her first novel, “Whispering Walls & Voices Past” detailing her own fictional rendition of her real life experiences. 

Jason inherited Viola's intuitive abilities and frequently had vivid dreams and premonitions of events that would come to pass.  His abilities grew stronger as he progressed in years.  

I learned that God always compensates you for the things you lack and I just had a knack for intuiting things about people and what was to come.   Growing up with these abilities along with a disability was burdening at times.  The children and teenagers at the public schools were brutal in their teasing. 

"I would be physically assaulted on a daily basis in late elementary and middle school.  It became so bad that at 14 I was extremely depressed, had 2-3 panic attacks a day.  Finally, I just couldn't take the mental abuse and I decided to take my own life."

"It was one of the worse times of my life.  I was afraid to live and afraid to die.  At that age, I was so confused and torn emotionally.  I was so immersed in a society that did not understand my gifts or my disability.  It is a hell that I would not wish on my worst enemy."  

Jason had prepared to take his life by hanging himself in the barn on his parents' farm.  "Even before I could gather the rope, my angel Gloria appeared in an amazing light that I had never seen before.  At that instant, for what it seemed like an eternity, I saw the Kingdom of Heaven open up behind her.  She [Gloria] reminded me that I would never walk alone and that God had a Plan all along.  In an instant, I saw everything, my whole life, the future flash before me and it was good.  From that moment on, even though I still had depression and anxiety, I knew that I would survive.  

Jason’s parents immediately took him out of public school and placed him in private school. 

"I did a complete 180!  It was amazing how different the teenagers were at the academy and how thoughtful and dedicated the teachers were to my education." 

Around the age of 15, under the guidance of his grandmother and other spiritual teachers, Jason learned the Tarot, Numerology, billet reading and the nature of yet another Gift:  the ability to physically heal others with his hands.

"I absolutely loved putting my hands on others to pray for them.  At that age, it was magical because  I would, and still do, feel the electricity [energy] come out from my hands to the person.  It is funny because even to this day, people will come up to me at family gatherings or church with a headache or back problem and it will go away instantly with just a touch."

Jason began his mediumship career at the early age of 16 where people began to come from the surrounding areas and all over the country for readings.  "When people began to come, at first, I would be asked where my father was because they were expecting an older man.  I still get that to this day!" 

When Jason was 18, Viola Catherine Shields died due to health complications.  The night his grandmother died, Catherine appeared to Jason in beautiful lights reminding him of his prophecy sent of the Holy Spirit and his destiny which was to continue to use his Gifts to help the world.  Jason went on to study at Ball State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. 

In 1997, Jason founded Harbor of Light Ministries when he became ordained as a minister.  Harbor of Light Ministries was founded on the basis that each individual is unique and precious in God’s eyes along with the premise that God loves all persons regardless of race, sex, creed, or sexual orientation.  "I wanted to let the entire human race know the simple message that 'God loves you' period. He loves us unconditionally."

Harbor of Light Ministries launched Jason’s career as a motivational speaker on behalf of persons with disabilities.  "My mission is to show these beautiful people that they can shine!  They can, in spite of their disabilities, rise up and live, dream, hope and create a beautiful life."  Jason speaks to numerous churches, corporations, institutions, and groups and teaches topics such as overcoming adversity, success and goal achieving and diversity awareness.

Recently, Jason Shields received his certification as a Certified Personal Trainer from the YMCA. This has been a major milestone for Jason physically.  "I have been working out five to six days a week with weights and cardiovascular exercise.  I started weight training when I was 14 and it just helps keep me in physical shape.  It has drastically reduced the physical effects brought on by the cerebral palsy.  From time to time, I will get to work with a person who has a disability at the gym and help them live a better life."

In the spirit and nature of his late grandmother, Jason continues to read for people all over the world which have included some high-profile celebrities and politicians.  "Unlike some psychic/mediums, I do not plaster pictures and sayings from my high-profile clients.  They deserve the same respect my other clients receive.  I think it is totally unprofessional, not to mention tacky and cheap."

In addition, Jason has worked with local and state police and the FBI to help with numerous unsolved mysteries and missing persons.  Jason Shields also teaches and lectures out of his home in Anderson, Indiana teaching a wide variety of classes ranging from basic psychic development to mediumship.  Jason frequently travels the country conducting readings and workshops.

Jason is currently working on a sequel to his grandmother’s novel along with his own autobiography which is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2009.
