Jason Shields' Autobiography 

Jason Shields describes in his motivational talks his own experience of growing up with Asperger's, a relatively mild and high-functioning form of autism and mild cerebral palsy. Even though he exhibited many of the most common traits of autism in childhood - social isolation, difficulties with abstract thought, and communication problems - as an adult, he continues to lead a successful, happy, and independent life with a career, relationship, and numerous friends and intellectual pursuits. As an author and lecturer in the field of human perception as well as an autism advocate, Jason is well known for his dynamic, genuine, down-to-earth style and personality. He lectures, teaches, and counsels people from all over the world including Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Jason's one on one intuitive sessions provide his clients with hope that they can change their futures and achieve their dreams.

Jason's philosophy of life is based upon his own uncanny perception of human beings and their behaviors.  Jason always says, "Take with you what you want and leave the rest behind." He is also strongly pro God, but again does not force the issue. Jason likes to tell people, "It does not matter if you believe in God, because God believes in you."

Jason's Savant Abilities

Some call it extra sensory perception (ESP) or psychic ability. I call it perceptual intuition. Asperger's has allowed me to look at people and the world in entirely new and interesting ways. I went for 28 years undiagnosed. Born with mild cerebral palsy, my parents just assumed that my “unusual” or different ways of seeing things and how I interacted differently was a part of the cerebral palsy. Recently, I was diagosed as a high functioning, autistic savant. It's a rare condition and rarer still when accompanied by self-awareness and mastery of human perception. I am able to perceive a thing, a person, a situation from a variety of different facets. Different kinds of perceiving create different kinds of knowing and understanding. This plays an invaluable role in my work with clients who range from individuals who seek extrasensory information about their lives to corporations who wish to better understand their infrastructures – employees, standards and practices.
