This charm was created in the early 1900's and cast in bronze. This piece is one of our rarest in the collection due to its shape and various insignias on both the front and back sides. The Mahayana texts offered those seeking salvation the possibility of sudden enlightenment through the assistance of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
The bottom part is in the shape of a rounded square suggesting security and stable foundations as the top forms a triangle for body, mind and spirit indicating that abundance comes from the Divine. The back side of this charm has a Tibetan Blessing for protection and financial abundance. Two intertwining squares form the number 8 on the outer edges (Financial Security) and the inner points add to 4, which represent stability in the four elements.
